The drive-away price is what it costs to have the ID.4 registered and yours. It is list price plus registration, CTP, stamp duty and dealer delivery. State by state, electric cars attract different charges, and some concessions remain. Your postcode and your ID.4 spec decide it, so we work from both.
Yes, and it comes up more often than you would think. We deal with this often enough that the questions tend to be the same ones each time. The useful detail is the pram you have, the boot you need, and whether a second seat is coming later. Something this size tends to suit, but rear seat width and boot access still vary between grades. We will put the ID.4 grades side by side on seats, boot and anchor points. And if it is not the right car for what you need, we will tell you honestly.
Yes. The ID.4 comes with the complete Volkswagen factory warranty. The separate battery warranty is unaffected too. It is supplied new through a franchised Volkswagen dealer, which is the whole point. Nothing about buying through a broker changes your warranty or your servicing.
The honest answer is that it depends on whether the ID.4 exists yet or not. Electric availability shifts faster than it does on petrol models. A grade that is close one month can be well out the next, and paint changes it again. We check live availability first, so you get a date you can plan around.
The exemption applies to battery electric cars that sit under the fuel-efficient LCT threshold and are novated. It explains most of the recent interest in packaging an electric car.
