List prices are manufacturer RRP excluding on-road costs, indicative only and current as at August 2026. Your drive-away price depends on variant, options, state on-road costs and the offers we get back.
Toyota is BYD, Tesla, Honda or Mercedes-Benz, discounts are only available via novated leasing. Variant B renders instead of Variant A: no "we'll beat the dealer price", no cash-discount message, no {{saving_proof}} stat, and the finance disclaimer becomes mandatory in-block. Flip the toggle in the top bar to preview. Hard branch in the template, not an editorial choice. At a dealership you're negotiating against someone who does this every day. With a broker, that flips — they compete for you.
One dealer's stock, one dealer's price, and a Saturday you're not getting back.
You tell us once. We handle it end-to-end.
We work out of Sydney and deal with buyers right across the country.
Tell us the HiLux configuration once and we take it from there. Dealers nationwide put their numbers forward, and you compare them in one place. Many of our buyers never see a showroom at all. If you'd prefer to pick it up, we'll hold it at a dealership close to you.

The range runs from $33,990 for the WorkMate Hi-Rider 4x2 to $82,990 for the SR5 BEV, before on-road costs. Most buying happens in between: SR 4x4 at $54,990, SR5 4x4 at $63,990, and the Rogue and Rugged X at $71,990. What you actually pay depends on grade, cab, drivetrain, your state's on-road costs and what the dealers come back with when they're competing. We'll get you a real drive-away price on your exact spec, free, with no obligation.
Those three grades cover most of what people buy. WorkMate is the work-first spec and opens the range at $33,990 in Hi-Rider 4x2, or $45,990 in 4x4. SR steps up to $54,990 in 4x4 and is where a lot of trade buyers land. SR5 at $63,990 adds the comfort and equipment worth having if the ute doubles as the family car on weekends. Above SR5 sit Rogue and Rugged X at $71,990, which are the styling and off-road-focused grades. Tell us how you'll actually use it and we'll tell you where to stop.
The 48V grades are mild-hybrid versions of the same diesel, and the premium is not consistent across the range. It costs $3,000 to go 48V on the SR, but only $500 on the SR5. If you're already looking at an SR5, the step is close to nominal. On the SR it's a genuine decision. Rogue and Rugged X come as 48V only, so the choice doesn't arise there. Tell us which grade you're circling and we'll tell you whether it's worth taking on the way you drive.
There are two battery-electric grades now, the SR BEV at $74,990 and the SR5 BEV at $82,990. That's about $20,000 above the equivalent diesel, which is a lot to recover on running costs alone if you're buying it outright. It reads very differently through a novated lease or a business purchase, where the structure does more work than the sticker. We'll cost both side by side on your actual usage rather than let you guess. Rates and repayments are indicative only and subject to lender approval.
Towing capacity moves with drivetrain and grade, and the battery-electric variants don't necessarily match the diesel ones. Rather than quote you a headline number that may not apply to the exact HiLux you end up with, tell us what you're actually towing: van, boat, plant trailer or horse float, and we'll confirm the braked and unbraked ratings for that specific variant in writing before you order anything. Same goes for payload if you're running a tray or canopy.
Yes, and it is a fair question on a ute. Plenty of the people we help are new parents, or first-time buyers working out whether a dual cab actually suits a young family. The honest answer depends on the cab: a single or extra cab is not the car for it, while a double cab HiLux gives you a proper rear bench. Tell us how many seats you need and what else has to fit alongside a pram, and we will check the rear seat layout and anchor points on the grades you are considering. If a wagon or SUV would suit you better, we will say so.
Drive-away is what it costs to get the HiLux registered and on the road, not the $33,990 list figure you see advertised. It adds registration, CTP, stamp duty and dealer delivery on top of whichever grade you choose. Tray, canopy, bull bar and any fit-out sit outside that number, so check that any quote you're comparing separates them rather than burying them. We also push dealers on the extras worth having: floor mats, a full tank, first service where we can get it. You'll see every line before you sign.
Yes, and a large share of HiLux buyers do. We'll structure it as a business purchase, get the invoicing right for your entity, and talk through chattel mortgage versus lease so it lands the way your accountant wants it to. GST and depreciation treatment depend on your setup and how the ute is used, so we'll get you the right numbers and leave the tax position to your accountant. Rates and repayments are indicative only and subject to lender approval.
No separate bill lands on your desk. Our fee sits inside the deal we negotiate, so the drive-away price we quote you on a Toyota HiLux is the number you pay, with nothing added at signing. You'll see it broken down before you commit to anything. And if the offers we bring back aren't worth acting on, you walk away and it hasn't cost you a cent.
Yes. The ute is supplied new through a franchised Toyota dealer, so the factory warranty, roadside assistance and capped-price servicing come across exactly as they would if you'd bought it in the showroom. Warranty attaches to the vehicle and the supplying dealer, not to who negotiated the price. On a ute that has to earn its keep that's the part you don't want to get clever about, and you're giving up nothing here.
HiLux sells in big numbers, and that cuts both ways. There's usually stock somewhere in the country, but the popular grades and colours move fast. Stock utes can be done in days once finance and paperwork are sorted. Build slots run longer and vary by grade, and the 48V and BEV variants can sit on their own timelines. We'll give you a realistic date on the exact HiLux you want, tray and fit-out included, before you commit.
Yes. We'll value what you're replacing against the wholesale market and factor it into the HiLux deal, so you're not running a sale and a purchase as two separate exercises. If the wholesale number beats the dealer's trade offer, that difference stays with you. Either way you see both figures before you decide.

Looking at a few options? We broker every make and model in Australia — same process, same dealer network.
{{related_body[]}} (same body type — the competitor set a Ranger buyer is actually cross-shopping), then three {{related_make[]}} (same make, different model). The hub pill always renders last and always points at /new-car-broker/ — that link is what stops the directory becoming 300 orphans, so it is not optional on any page. Rules for the generator: exclude the current page from its own list; never link to a page that failed the data threshold and wasn't generated; pad from {{related_make[]}} if a body type has fewer than six siblings; if a model has no siblings at all, render the hub pill alone rather than reaching for unrelated vehicles. Anchor text stays as the plain model name — the target page's H1 already carries "car broker", and stamping it into all ten anchors is the kind of thing that reads as manipulation.
