The 48V grades are mild-hybrid versions of the same diesel, and the premium is not consistent across the range — it costs $3,000 to go 48V on the SR, but only $500 on the SR5. If you're already looking at an SR5, the step is close to nominal. On the SR it's a genuine decision. Rogue and Rugged X come as 48V only, so the choice doesn't arise there.
