The i5 range opens at $155,900 for the eDrive40 and tops out at $215,900 for the M60 xDrive, before on-roads. None of those are the figure you actually hand over. It depends on variant, options, your state's on-road costs and what the dealers come back with when they are competing. Send through the spec and we will do the asking, free, with nothing to sign.
No separate charge comes your way on the i5. Our margin sits within the arrangement, so the i5 price we quote is final. No line items appear at delivery. In this bracket the gap between dealer offers is substantial, and closing it is the job.
The eDrive40 opens the i5 range at $155,900 and the M60 xDrive tops it at $215,900. On an electric car the step between them is usually battery size, motor count and charging speed rather than trim. That makes the choice more about how you will live with the i5 day to day than about badge. Give us the use case and we will tell you where the value sits.
Drive-away on the i5 is what leaves your account, not what the ad quotes. Add registration, CTP, stamp duty and dealer delivery to the list price. Some states treat electric vehicles differently on stamp duty and registration, and concessions vary. We calculate it against your postcode and the i5 grade you want.
Yes, in full. The i5 carries the same BMW warranty as any showroom car. The battery warranty BMW offers on the i5 applies as well. That is exactly where the car comes from: a franchised BMW dealer, brand new. Warranty attaches to the car and the supplying dealer, not to who negotiated the price.
Yes in most specs, and where it does not we will say so. Plenty of cars in this class suit a baby seat fine, and the catch is usually boot space rather than the back seat. Tell us how many seats you need, what else has to fit in the boot, and who else will be driving it. We will look at how the back seat is laid out on each i5 grade you are weighing up.
That depends entirely on whether your i5 is stock or a build slot. Battery-electric supply is the more volatile of the two. The same grade can swing from weeks to months, and colour moves it further. We check live availability first, so you get a date you can plan around.
Battery electric vehicles priced under the luxury car tax threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles can be exempt from fringe benefits tax when they are novated. That is a large part of why electric novated leases have taken off. Whether the i5 qualifies depends on the variant and the drive-away figure against that threshold. We will work it out on your exact spec, and your accountant should confirm the position.
